After relocating from their hometown in Oregon, this charming Craftsman style home located in the highly desired Port Street neighborhood of Newport Beach, was the perfect spot for my clients to begin their family.  In need of some updating and a little TLC, we began with the main rooms of the house: creating a music room for their concert grand piano, remodeling guest quarters for their out-of-town visitors, remodeling the out-of-date kitchen, and furnishing the home’s entire first floor.  Once the dust settled, we moved upstairs to finish decorating the home.  Included in this phase was the design and furnishing of the principal bedroom suite and nursery, soon followed by three children’s bedrooms, one by one as the family of two became a family of five.

“I first met this couple as newlyweds who had just moved from Portland to Newport Beach. Ten years and three children later, we’re still shaping their home together—refining spaces, layering textures, and evolving the design to reflect their changing lifestyle. I can’t wait to see where life takes them next.”
