Located within the private residential community of Kukio on the Big Island of Hawaii, our vision for this beautifully crafted home was one of subtle sophistication, while maintaining the Polynesian aesthetic my clients fell in love with.  The custom home and its four casitas had been previously detailed with handcrafted millwork and cabinetry, custom finishes, and pretty lighting, so a thoughtfully designed refresh was all that was needed.  We repurposed and reupholstered furnishings where we could, purchased new pieces to meet changing needs inside and out, and added many one-of-a-kind items for a personal touch.  Resulting in true resort-like living in their Hawaiian home away from home.
