SCROLL

Owning an apartment in New York City was a life-long dream for this California transplant, and to participate in its creation alongside this favorite client was truly an honor. Located just one block away from the famed Gramercy Park, we transformed this newly built apartment with its bare white walls and stark European cabinetry into a warm, colorful, and luxurious interior. With the use of grass cloth wallcoverings, contemporary lighting, patterned wool rugs and an eclectic mix of custom furnishings, we were able to marry our client’s love of traditional aesthetics to the building’s contemporary architecture…considered by all to be the perfect pairing..

“So many newly built apartment buildings in New York lack a sense of history or architectural interest, so you need to create it.  In this one owned by a dear client, we installed beautiful lighting to add warmth and character and selected refined furnishings to dress up the once stark and spare interior.”
