The renovation of this charming 7,000 sq ft residence, affectionately known as The Pink House, beautifully merges Colonial Revival southern charm with a touch of modern elegance in the coveted Dover Shores neighborhood of Newport Beach. Every detail was carefully considered, from refurbishing the original quarter-sawn walnut floors to selecting a timeless color palette to adorn the walls, resulting in a home that feels both old and new, warm and inviting.

Inspired by our client’s request for ‘granny chic’, our team artfully curated the refined yet playful aesthetic throughout the home by combining traditional and modern design elements together. The kitchen serves as a cozy centerpiece of the home, featuring black-and-white checkered marble flooring, a vintage brick fireplace, and a custom-built breakfast banquette surrounded by large windows that flood the space with natural light. While the outdoor area is the perfect place for family gatherings and alfresco living, complete with a modern infinity pool, a beautifully crafted cabana and bar, and spacious dining areas.

“I never shy away from a creative challenge—and this one had it all: bold color, playful florals, a mix of styles, young children, rambunctious dogs, and an iconic pink house in Newport Beach.”
